September 6, 2017: Updates should be finished after this posting. Warning to all – my typing is extremely lousy lately and I doubt it will improve. So, progress on these last chapters will be slow. And, the content size may diminish a tad. Hopefully, the quality will remain intact. Please enjoy TNJC 13.01

September 1, 2017: Hello again! Tests were negative. I did suffer a TIA, but nothing was major or debilitating. So… I managed to progress a little with my outside chores, but there is a lot more to go. However, I did find copy of what I wanted to do with the new work (13.01), so I am mostly on schedule.

The editing is the only hold-up. Each “year” requires a complete list of the chapters, and I did not have the list completed … yet… Hopefully, Sunday the 3rd – which is our Labor Day here in the States – I will have that taken care of. I’m here at least. Are you? Please be patient. This writer is not 100% - but then, some of you have been thinking that for a long time…

MAY 25, 2017: TNJC 12.12 is completed, and I apologize for the wait. Parkinson’s has slowed my typing speed to turtle speed, and I am constantly going back and correcting gramma and spelling. As a result, everything takes three times as long.

YES! I am going to take a Sabbatical and get a few things done around my office and closet, so I would say do not look for updates until September 2017 thereabouts. Am not quitting – just taking some time to straighten things out. I have been writing the stories for nearly 20 years now, and it makes me wonder if I should move on…. But, I have also vowed to finish what I started – something I made a point to follow when my favorite series quit before it left me hanging… So, look for updates before the end of the year.

On Monday 5/22, I suffered a “Mini-Stroke” or TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack). For a very scary 10-minutes, I slurred my words and had numbness in my ear canals. Fortunately, we were about 25 minutes from an ER and I was admitted immediately. Like heart attacks, strokes get top priority in triage. Blood samples, EKG, CT scan of the skull & brain, and a chest X-Ray seemed to indicate that I had suffered a TIA, and NOT a full-fledged stroke.

On Wednesday (5/24), revisited my primary physician, and he ordered an ECG (Electro-Cardio-Gram) of my heart and a Doppler scan of my neck blood vessels, and I was told to go easy for a month or so… I have the tests done in June…
