The following are sketches of
places as set in the stories of TJC. They are rough drawings and are not met to
actually convey distances or measurements…

This is
the Square where the Jellicle Ball takes place, as well as the Moon Festivals
when the weather is not too bad… The “Pond” is where water collects during
the winter time, and freezes for the “Ice Dancing.” The term “junk” refers to
odd bits of castoffs, broken furniture, old appliances, boxes and crates,
etc. NORTH is
toward the top of the drawing. Yes, I know – it “does”
look like the set… It’s supposed to… Rumblepurr
