The following stories are ones that were not originally placed within the confines of TJC. The stories are based upon the Chapters found in TJC and its characters and interpretations. They may or may not be in order…
To base it upon TJC, let us surmise that Rumblepurr had more stories than he could place in the confines of the Year Volumes, which were found after the Return. Along with the Volumes, another discovery was made: a set of notepads, some of which were not found in the Chapters. These, then, are being placed here.
NINE LIVES by Dennis C. Callin (Rumblepurr)
(12-30-2001) - (Prior to YEAR ONE or long after TJC) This story takes place in the Delta Quadrant of the Milky Way Galaxy and are archival copies of log entries of the USS Voyager. (03-16-2002) - (Soon after the above Story) This story tells of Ensign Harry Kim’s research into the Jellicles. What he finds will lead him to recreate, in the holodeck, a Temple from Earth’s Ancient Egypt. To be precise, he recreates the Temple of Bast where the High Priest is Munkustrap. Further research finds that 25 Jellicles were here at the Temple at a very momentous occasion, and Kim may have found a way home from the Delta Quadrant…
THE GENTLE GIANT by Dennis C. Callin (Rumblepurr)
(06-11-2002) - (Prior to YEAR ONE) This story occurs before the Jellicle Ball – probably by one year. Munkustrap is at the Railway Pipe when a large Black-White Tom enters. Trained to discourage strays from entering, the Guardian finds himself totally outmatched, and soon bested. Instead of being harmed, the huge Tom just does not want the encounter to be violent. For the first time, Munkustrap meets Quaxo.
COME SOFTLY IN THE MOONLIGHT by Dennis C. Callin (Rumblepurr)
(10-08-2001) - (Prior to YEAR ONE) This story occurs one month after the Jellicle Ball, two months before the first story of the Jellicle Chronicles. Mistoffelees watches Victoria dance in the moonlight, and then discovers she wants to dance with him. Furthermore, she is in love with him. There is only one problem, Plato is claiming his right to her because of the Courtship Dance. Munkustrap steps in to help them, and that means going to Old Deuteronomy.
